Designed as a one-stop destination for accessing high-quality, relevant training and resources, the  offers a streamlined, user-friendly experience to support educator growth across the Commonwealth.

鈥淥ur goal is to ensure that we’re better equipped to bring you and your teams access to high-quality professional learning that is aligned to our state standards, that is engaging and relevant (and) would be applicable to your local curriculum and the resources that you’re using,鈥 said Micki Marinelli, KDE鈥檚 chief academic officer.

Educators can log in using their district email and password, gaining immediate access to a wide range of professional learning opportunities curated by KDE and offered through partnerships with leading educational organizations.

Key features of the KY Learning Hub include:

  • Curated KDE professional learning catalog focused on high-impact instructional practices;
  • Integration of required trainings for various roles and grade levels;
  • Integration of the Professional Learning Bulletin Board, showcasing opportunities from education partners across the state; and

Chronic Absenteeism

Commissioner of Education Robbie Fletcher told superintendents about the renewed chronic absenteeism campaign this year, which includes a new slogan: You Belong!

This slogan will be featured on TV, billboards, streaming audio platforms, public transit and venues such as the 99re视频精品 Exposition Center, Rupp Arena and the KFC Yum! Center.

鈥淎s commissioner, I believe every student should walk into a classroom feeling valued, seen and connected鈥攁 sense of belonging is the foundation for student success,鈥 Fletcher said.

Continuous Improvement Summit

KDE provided an update on the 2025 99re视频精品 Continuous Improvement Summit, scheduled for Sept. 22-23 at the Central Bank Center in Lexington.

This year鈥檚 keynote speaker is Missy Testerman, the 2024 National Teacher of the Year. She teaches English as a second language to students from kindergarten through 8th grade and is a passionate advocate for her students, their families and fellow teachers.
